The House of Dior was established in 1946 at 30 Avenue Montaigne, Paris.

In February 1947 Monsieur Dior launched his first collection featuring the 2 legendary lines “Corolle” and “Huit”.

Today the company designs and retails ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, jewellery and timepieces.

The main focus of the company is to maintain its tradition as creator of recognized haute-couture in all their lines of production.

In 2000 Dior joined the LVMH group.

Designer John Galliano was appointed in the early 2000 as main creative Director and under his allure the legendary Christal collection came to life.

In those years the designer of Dior fine Jewellery Victoire de Castellane launched her own watch collection called “ Le D de Dior” signifying the entrance of Dior watches into its collection of fine Jewellery. The next release was a watch for the Dior Homme Collection called “Chiffre Rouge”. This special watch included the signature look of Dior Homme: watch design and technology match each other inseparably the perfect expression of Dior homme’s artistic excellence increasing the watch making legitimacy of Dior timepieces.

To pay tribute to the couture house’s legendary founder Dior named its latest watch collections “Dior VIII” in black and white ceramic and “Dior VIII Montaigne” in stainless steel and gold:
