When you need to stand up for yourself against the evil Internet trolls of the world, you’re going to want to do it in a diamond-encrusted Chopard choker – and that’s exactly what Jennifer Lawrence did. The Oscar-winning actress recently found herself the victim of what she referred to as a ‘sex-crime’ when nude photographs were hacked from her cell phone and released online. As the cover girl for Vanity Fair’s November issue, our beloved JLaw was given the chance to have the last word, “It’s my body, and it should be my choice” she claimed. The Hunger Games star embraced old world Hollywood glamour in the cover shoot sporting a number of evening gowns, poolside no less. It’s no surprise to us that the shot chosen for the November cover features Jennifer in nothing more than a white gold and titanium Chopard necklace with more diamonds than can be counted!
Recognise this necklace? Well yes, it is the very same piece actress Naomi Watts wore while playing the role of the late Princess Diana in the 2013 biopic. Much Chopard jewellery adorned the actress throughout the film and most iconic were a pair of oval sapphire diamond earrings, designed to match the Princess’s famous engagement ring. On her delight upon designing jewellery for the film Co-President and Artistic Director at Chopard, Caroline Scheufele revealed they created a collection of pieces with “an expert mixture of glamour, simplicity and romanticism, to reflect Diana’s style wonderfully”.
