To celebrate its 130th anniversary, Victorinox – they of the indestructible Swiss Army knives – has pulled off an impressive feat. They’ve released a watch that they believe is virtually indestructible – much like their legendary knives. The I.N.O.X is described as ‘a watch of unimaginable solidity, capable of withstanding a fall of 10m, being repeatedly driven over by 64-ton tank, or spending two hours at 90° in a washing machine’. And they’ve released the video clips to prove it… From watches being flung off balconies to watches being sent through welders, frozen in blocks of ice, the watch went through 130 torturous texts designed to demonstrate its resistance.
